Lotus Handpans was born on the 2nd August 2023 with the aim of helping our community to bond with our magical instruments that provide a sense of well being and relaxation.

A little more about me: I'm Simone 31yo and I'm from Italy. My travelling journey took me all the way to Australia to find a lovely community of drummers here in Melbourne that touched my heart and convinced me to stay. Soon after that i found my partner which I now share our son with and with her being a drummer too, we couldn't not share our passion for music with the community! So here we are.

We worked in the music industry for over 14 years as performers and facilitators and we came across thousands of people that would love to play a musical instrument but they think it's only for the talented ones! Incorrect!

When you love a musical instrument, having it is first step in your musical journey, if you can't play it you can't learn it. I would compare that as learning how to drive a car and you couldn't get a licence unless you attended driving lessons and practised driving.
